Paris International Shoulder Course
Article 1 – Organizer The Paris International Shoulder Course 2028, hereinafter referred to as the “Event” or “PISC 2028”, is organized by Oxygène Expo, a French simplified joint-stock company (Société par Actions Simplifiée – SAS) with share capital of EUR 10,000, whose registered office is located at 229 rue Saint-Honoré – 75001 Paris, France, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 794 253 443, VAT number FR58794253443, hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”. Article 2 – Event These General Terms and Conditions of Sale, hereinafter referred to as the “GTCS”, apply to registrations for the Paris International Shoulder Course 2028, which will take place from 6 to 8 April 2028 at the Paris Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel & Conference Center, Paris, France. PISC 2028 is an international medical congress dedicated to shoulder arthroplasty and related scientific and educational content, including conferences, scientific sessions, live surgeries, workshops, sponsor activities, exhibition areas and networking opportunities. Any registration to the Event implies full acceptance of these GTCS.
Article 3 – Registration and Eligibility Registration to PISC 2028 is reserved exclusively for healthcare professionals and professionals from the medical industry. The available registration categories are: Surgeon; Resident / Fellow. The Organizer may request supporting documentation to verify the participant’s professional status, particularly for registrations under the Resident / Fellow category.
Article 4 – Included Services Congress registration gives access to the scientific sessions, conferences, live surgeries, exhibition areas and general Event activities included in the selected registration category. Live surgeries are included for all registered participants, subject to the final programme and technical, medical, legal or organizational requirements. The Ultrasound Workshop is sold separately and is not included in the standard congress registration fee. Access to the Ultrasound Workshop is subject to prior registration, availability and full payment of the applicable additional fee.
Article 5 – Fees and Payment Registration fees are indicated in euros (EUR) on the Event website and/or registration platform. The following pricing periods apply: Early registration fee: available until 30 November 2027, subject to availability and payment confirmation; Standard registration fee: applicable from 1 December 2027. Payment must be made online in euros (EUR) using the payment methods available on the registration platform. Registration is confirmed only after full payment has been received. Unless otherwise stated, registration fees do not include travel, accommodation, visa costs, insurance, personal expenses or any other costs incurred by the participant in connection with their participation in the Event.
Article 6 – Confirmation and Invoice Once registration and payment have been completed, the participant will receive a registration confirmation by email. The invoice will be issued using the billing information provided during the registration process. The participant is responsible for ensuring that all registration and billing information is accurate before validating the registration. Any request to modify billing information after the invoice has been issued remains subject to the Organizer’s approval and may not always be possible.
Article 7 – Badge and Access to the Event Each registration is personal and nominative. The badge issued to the participant is strictly personal and non-transferable. The participant may be asked to present a valid identification document and/or professional proof upon arrival at the Event. Access to the Event may be refused if the participant is unable to present a valid badge, if the badge has been altered or used by another person, or if the participant does not comply with the access conditions of the Event.
Article 8 – Cancellation by the Participant
Any cancellation request must be sent in writing by email to: contact@paris-shoulder-course.com.
The date used to determine the applicable cancellation conditions shall be the date on which the written cancellation request is received by the Organizer.
The following cancellation conditions apply:

Administrative fees are fixed at EUR 60 including VAT per cancelled registration and are non-refundable.
Where applicable, refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever technically possible. Processing times may vary depending on banks and payment service providers.
The Ultrasound Workshop follows the same cancellation conditions as the congress registration, unless otherwise specified during the registration process.
Article 9 – Visa Invitation Letter Participants requiring a visa may request an invitation letter from the Organizer after completing and paying their registration in full. The invitation letter is issued solely to support the participant’s visa application and does not guarantee that a visa will be granted. In the event of visa refusal, the participant may request a refund by providing official written proof of refusal issued by the competent authority. Refunds in the event of visa refusal remain subject to the cancellation conditions set out in Article 8, unless otherwise decided by the Organizer on a case-by-case basis. The Organizer shall not be responsible for visa refusal, delays in visa processing, travel arrangements, accommodation costs or any personal expenses incurred by the participant.
Article 10 – Programme and Event Adjustments The Organizer may adjust the Event programme, speakers, faculty members, session formats, schedules, workshops, live surgeries or practical arrangements where necessary for scientific, medical, technical or organizational reasons. Such adjustments shall not give rise to any refund or compensation, provided that the Event is maintained in substance.
Article 11 – Participant Conduct Participants agree to behave in a professional, respectful and lawful manner throughout the Event. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse access to or remove from the Event any participant whose behavior may affect the safety, comfort, reputation or proper organization of the Event, without refund or compensation. Article 12 – Personal Data Personal data collected during the registration process is processed by the Organizer for the purposes of managing registrations, payments, invoicing, access control, communication relating to the Event and compliance with legal obligations. The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy available on the Event website. Participants may exercise their rights in accordance with applicable data protection regulations by contacting the Organizer at: contact@paris-shoulder-course.com.
Article 13 – Liability The Organizer shall make reasonable efforts to ensure the proper organization of the Event and the availability of the services included in the registration. The Organizer shall not be liable for costs or damages related to the participant’s travel arrangements, accommodation, visa formalities, personal expenses, professional obligations, health condition, failure to attend or partial attendance.
Article 14 – Applicable Law and Jurisdiction These GTCS are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute relating to the interpretation, validity or performance of these GTCS, the parties shall seek an amicable resolution before initiating any legal proceedings. Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris, France, unless otherwise provided by mandatory legal provisions.
